Terms and Conditions

Grooming T&C's


Please read each paragraph before booking with us.

-Grooming Prices 

​We charge according to your pets size, coat type, behaviour and styling required. Prices will vary at each visit. 


-Sustainable Salons Fee

Each time your pet visits our salon your bill will include a $3 Sustainable Salons Fee that will support our commitment to sustainability and zero waste without compromising the quality service we offer you.

-Pick up and drop off times

We have pre-set drop off and pick up times to minimise any distractions during the grooming process. Your pick up time will be 2 hours after booking time unless otherwise discussed with our stylist. If your pet is finished before this 2 hour time frame we will contact you with a suitable pickup time. 



We can offer Groom'n'Snooze for clients who can not pick up after 2 hours. This is an additional cost and depended on the pets behaviour and store opening hours etc. This must be arranged prior to drop off. 

-Cancellations / Late arrivals / No shows / Late Pick-ups

Cancellations or late arrivals can leave an empty block in the schedule that could have otherwise been used by another customer, we ask that any cancellations are made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees. Appointments will be cancelled and considered a No Show after 15mins past booking time and a $50 cancelation fee will apply. After a No Show appointment a $50 non refundable deposit will be required at time of booking to reserve all future appointments. 


-Interruptions During Grooming Services

For the safety of the animals being groomed, as well as the professional pet groomer, it is asked that you do not interrupt the groomer during grooming. After dropping your pet off, please do not return to the salon until you have received a confirmation from us that your pet is ready.


-Matted Coats

FurBaby Pet Care will not cause serious or undue stress to your pet by dematting. Mats can be very difficult to remove, and may require the pet to be shaved. Removing a heavily matted coat can cause nicks, cuts or abrasions. After-effects of mat removal procedures can include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions and failure of the hair to regrow. In some cases, pets may also exhibit brief behavioural changes. If your pet needs to be shaved to remove matting, you acknowledge that you agree to this procedure, any risk involved, and any/all veterinary expenses incurred shall be the responsibility of the pet's owner. There will be an additional charge for mat removal.



FurBaby Pet Care strives to be a flea-free salon.  If your pet has any fleas they will be given a flea bath at your expense of $20. Ticks will be removed free of charge and you will be notified if any are found.​

-Refusal of Services

FurBaby Pet Care has the right to refuse ANY services at ANY time. In the event that your pet is too stressed or becomes dangerous to groom, FurBaby Pet Care has the right to refuse grooming services, stop grooming services, or cancel grooming services at any time before, during, or after grooming and client will be charged a grooming fee (for what was done up until that point).    


-Health or Medical Problems

Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after grooming. All medical expenses for veterinary care will be covered by the pet's owner.



At FurBaby Pet Care, we HIGHLY recommend (but do not require) that your pet be immunized & kept up to date with their vaccine. With the recommendation that all pets visiting us be vaccinated, if a pet should become infected, all treatment and costs associated shall be the pet owner’s responsibility. 



Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are unhappy for any reason, and would like something adjusted, we will be happy to make any adjustments at completion of your pets grooming appointment. Once, however, we have left your home or you have left our salon, any return visits will be treated as a new appointment and client will be charged a grooming fee.

Day Care T&C's


FurBaby Pet Care will take every precaution to ensure your pets safety and well-being at all times whilst under its care.


We reserve the right to exclude or expel from our care ANY animal, for ANY reason, at our discretion.


We request all pets considered for our day care services to be:

-In good general health


-Microchipped with owners details accurate & up to date.

-Fully vaccinated with up to date vaccinations

-Currently on a flea and tick prevention program

-Fitted with a collar or harness, with an ID tag attached.


The client agrees to inform us of any known behavioural issues or aggressive tendencies that their pet has towards other animals, humans, food, toys or a specific circumstance.


Whilst we will take every precaution to manage/control your pet’s behaviour, in the unfortunate event your pet’s behaviour be the cause of any loss, damage or injury to any persons or property – we will not be held liable or responsible.


In the unfortunate event of your pet becoming ill or injured whilst under our care, we reserve the right to administer necessary first-aid and/or transport the pet to a qualified vet for treatment. We will endeavor to use the client’s preferred vet, if such details have been provided, but reserve the right to transport the pet to another vet if necessary.


Any/all veterinary expenses incurred shall be the responsibility of the client, thus we recommend your pet is covered by pet insurance. We do not formally diagnose, or make therapy decisions, nor offer veterinary services. Any veterinary/medical concerns will be referred to a veterinarian.


Under no circumstances will we be held responsible for Paralysis Tick, Canine Influenza, Injury, Death, Loss or Damages of any kind whatsoever that may occur to any animal whilst under our care.


The client allows us the right to take photographs/video of your pet whilst under its care. These will become the intellectual property of FurBaby Pet Care who will have the subsequent right to post, publish and copyright at its discretion.


Any bookings cancelled 24-48 hours prior to the appointment will be charged 50% of the value.

Any bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged 100% of the value. 

Cancellation policies can be reviewed at managers discretion.


By engaging the services of FurBaby Pet Care you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
